So I went to do a little Christmas shopping at Target on Saturday and I ran into this beauty.  I've been hearing a lot of great things about this palette and at only $15 I had to buy it.  I haven't had the chance to use this yet, but I promise to get some looks up using this palette soon.

Wet n Wild Holiday Palettes 2011

So I decided to jump on the bandwagon and purchase the only two Wet n Wild 2011 Holiday Palette's I could find at my local Walgreens after hearing so much about them.  I purchased the Baking A Cake Palette (left) and Baked Not Fried (right).  Part of the Walgreens EXCLUSIVE Beauty Bar, these Limited Edition wet n wild Baked Eyeshadow Palettes are sure to be a huge hit this holiday season. These palettes, contain 6 baked shadows and a trial size kohl pencil, and are priced at $4.99 each.

One thing for sure that I'm not crazy about is the packaging, I think a simple flip lid like they normally have would of been way better than removing the lid off completly (which isn't the easiest or maybe it could just be my palettes).  Other than that, I'd say once again Wet n Wild did a pretty good job with their Holiday Palettes.  Since these are baked eyeshadows, I would definitely use them wet so you can get a better color payoff.

Once again sorry for the poor image quality, but there are tons of reviews and swatches online so you can get a better feel for these colors.  Maybe Santa will get me a nice camera this year for being such a good girl LOL.



Revlon Berry Haute! (I'm In LOVE!!!)

Let me just tell you how much I fell in love with this lipstick that I bought on Friday, that I had to go out the next day & buy two more just to have backup LOL.  This is Revlon Berry Haute, it's gorgeous, creamy, no shine, and inexpensive.  It has a purple/pink tone depending how you wear it, w/ a light application it can look almost pink, but layering ith will definitely show the purple in it.  This is definitely a perfect color for fall/winter.

(The swatch looks more pink, but then again my camera isn't the greatest, it's not that pink in person)

Milani HD Advanced Lip Color!

Ok so I was in desperate need of a purple/plummy lip color this past weekend, so I ran to my local drug store (Walgreens) and came across these lipsticks on sale ($4.19) by Milani, so I decided to give it a go, and I'm glad I did, not the exact shade of purple I wanted but still beautiful colors.  Here is what I got:

They only had these 3 colors available (left to right: #112 Vivacious Fuschia, #117 Sweet Grape, and #118 Premiere Plum).  If you know me, then you'll know I love Fuschia & this Milani lipstick does not disappoint. 

I swatched the colors on my hand below (top to bottom: Vivacious Fuchsia, Sweet Grape, & Premiere Plum)

As you can tell the Fuschia is mega bright just the way I like it, the Sweet Grape was kind of sheer but still the color payoff was beautiful, and of course my color for Saturday night was the Premiere Plum GORGEOUS!  If you come across these lipsticks, give them a try & let me know if you like!

My Thanksgiving Look!

I created this look once again using my BH Cosmetics Palette 3rd Edition, smokey lavendar & greys & for the lips my new found addiction Cover Girl lipstick in Eternal, such a great color!
